Roland has lived in the Flathead since 1980. Traveling over much of the USA has chosen the Flathead Valley as his home. He graduated from Eastern Montana College with a BS degree in education.
After teaching for one year on the high-line Roland then worked construction for a year before moving to the Flathead. He has worked with several business and jobs in the Flathead, from construction to sales, including 13 years at Plum creek. He now is the office manager of a Kalispell doctor’s office.
Roland and Ann have been married for 8 years and work together with Montana ProLife Coalition fighting for the rights of unborn citizens. He has been the on board of MPLC for 2 years. They also enjoy their horses especially on the trails in Glacier Park and around the county.
Roland has taken several classes at FVCC as have 3 of their children. He believes that education is a lifetime activity. Being involved in education for a large share of his life and acquiring skills that would be beneficial on the FVCC trustee board. Roland realizes how important a good education is and wants take part in furthering this ideal for this community.
